Call For Posters and Demos
The organizers of the 2023 ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries are pleased to invite proposals for posters and demonstrations. Posters are intended as a forum for ideas, early-stage explorations, and research outcomes that are well-suited to be presented in a less formal and more interactive manner. Demonstrations are intended to showcase developed innovative digital library technology and applications. Posters and demos relating to the theme of the conference, "Rethinking Digital Records", are particularly encouraged.
Proposal Format
Poster and demo proposals should not exceed 2 pages in length. Successful proposals should include:
- The title of the contribution
- Contact information of the proposers
- Body of the poster paper highlighting the contribution, outcome, etc.
- And indication whether the submission is intended as a poster or demo
Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be in English, in PDF format, and in the current ACM two-column conference format. Suitable LaTeX, Word, and Overleaf templates are available from the ACM Website (use "sigconf" proceedings template for LaTeX and the Interim Template for Word, https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template). All proposals should be submitted via Easychair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=jcdl2023.
Organization and Logistics
All poster and demo presentations are planned as in-person events. All authors of accepted posters and demos will get an opportunity to present and advertise their work during the always popular “minute madness” session and the following poster reception. In case of traveling restrictions (COVID related or otherwise), an exception may be made to allow authors to present the work remotely.
Submission Deadlines
All dates are Anywhere on Earth (AoE)February 12, 2023February 19, 2023 – Deadline for submission via EasyChair- mid-March, 2023 – Notification of acceptance
- April 16, 2023 – Final camera-ready deadline for all submissions
